Recently I visited Brisbane to watch two very special people tie the knot. In amongst all the celebrations I did manage to have a little wander and see what Brisbane had to offer.

My last trip to Brisbane was over 10 years ago, and to be honest it didn't leave much of an impression on me. This time however, I found some really cool spots to hang out.

A hungry and jet lagged me headed over to James Street and the awesome shop assistant in Kit and Ace pointed me in the direction of the most delicious salad spot. Botanica produces some of the best fresh, filling and just generally delicious salads. A small box fits in 4 different options and fills you right up.

Another store worth checking out was Assembly Label.

Its a really awesome store, with real nice clothes. After chatting to the store assistant its seems the store had just opened in Brisbane and the brand had started in Sydney. Go check it.

Ah yeh and grab a coffee and some brunch at King Arthurs Cafe. This sorted us right out the morning after, the day after the wedding (it was a super good extended wedding :) )

So get to Australia and enjoy Brisbane, its a dream.
