ZM Travels: 24 hours in Paris

Ok so we had a tiny bit more thank 24 hours but we managed to eat all the croissants in town. Heres are top tips for our quick trip to Paris:  - Book in advance and get a cheap Eurostar, I always forget how much I love the train, two hours later and you need to remember to attempt to speak French. - We stayed in La Marais with a friend, which was pretty lucky as its an awesome area and we spent the morning at Camille Cafe eating croissants and drinking coffee, and the evenings sipping red wine. Lots of nice shops including Han Kjobenhavn where I naughtily bought some new sunnies.   - GALLERY GO TO: Musée de...

Travel Tips on Brisbane : ZM Travels

I was lucky enough to stay with a friend my first night in Brisbane with this view at sunrise. I listened to the amazingly vibrant wildlife and took some shots (film ones still to be developed) Recently I visited Brisbane to watch two very special people tie the knot. In amongst all the celebrations I did manage to have a little wander and see what Brisbane had to offer.  My last trip to Brisbane was over 10 years ago, and to be honest it didn't leave much of an impression on me. This time however, I found some really cool spots to hang out. A hungry and jet lagged me headed over to James Street and the awesome shop assistant...

The Cove Collection behind the scenes...

As you can see the weather conditions where not ideal! Luckily with a strong team behind us, Photographer Jack Snell, Make up artist Amy Davies, Model Cressida and with the Tidal Travellers guiding us we got some incredible shots. Big thanks to all of the above, and to The Acey for styling the shoot.

Surf, Sun, Yoga and Wild Flowers

Surf, sun, yoga and wild flowers makes for a pretty awesome trip to the south west corner of Portugal.  Although it was a little colder than expected, it was seriously beautiful, surf was good, and the sun was out. I stayed at Bura Surfhouse which was awesome. There were some really great people from all corners of the world in this little surfhouse. Our chefs where two English guys who had hitched hiked down from Amsterdam, cooking up some seriously tasty meals. We surfed in the day and then did yoga in the evening on the roof, watching the sunset. We had an amazing yoga teacher Maria. (who also does amazing massages)  If you are like me and like to avoid...

Travel Tips on Florence Italy - "Allora" - ZM Travels

'Allora', 'Caio Bella!' Two phrases that take me fondly right back to living in Italy.  In this cold, wet, windy, English February I remember my Florence days with smile on my face. Sometimes when I close my eyes I can even feel the warmth on my skin and smell the scents of Italy.  If you are planning a little getaway I have outlined a few of my favourite travel tips for Florance.  First of all - I would say the best location to stay in is Santo Spirito - there are some great air B&Bs in the area.  Start with a coffee in Santa Spirito and a sweet pastry. yum.  Head up to Piazza Michelangelo before the crowds descend, and get...

Nordic Adventures

Alone on a mountain, watching the sunrise and sunset everyday, empty slopes - what more could you want from a January escape.  Skiing in the Alps is awesome however after this trip we decided its overrated! If you're like us and not interested in drunk Englishmen on their Apres, and you want some awesome quiet slopes and a great hot chocolate then Norway is highly recommended. The drive was a few hours from Oslo along side beautiful lake Mjosa, which was steaming away due to the cold weather, which just added to the mystical adventure. The skies were some of the most beautiful we have seen and the slopes were empty, it was perfect. No northern lights for us this...
